How Coaching Makes a Difference

I invested recently in a business training where, as part of the coursework, I had the opportunity to sit back and think about how being coached has helped me, personally. It was such a good exercise that I wanted to share the myriad of reasons I'm a fan of coaching with you. So, here goes:

  • Coaching has made me aware of my own limiting beliefs and gremlins.

  • It has helped build my confidence.

  • It has caused me to live more gratefully; to look for the positive, i.e. asking myself questions like "What's going right?" and "What's going well?"

  • It has taught me to be more mindful through practices like deep breathing, prayer and meditation.

  • It has taught me an attitude of non-judgment.

  • It has given me several pretty awesome "Aha" moments, one of which was my propensity toward self-sabotage (my definition of that is holding myself back from my potential greatness), for example.

  • It has made me aware of the energy I'm putting out into the world and why that matters. Similarly, it has increased my own awareness of the energy around me.

If you are less than happy in your current position, are unemployed-and-job-seeking, or are thinking about making a change for any reason, I'd love to set up a free consultation to see whether my career coaching is a good fit for you.

Shoot me an email or private message me today to set up your 20-minute consult!
